‘Solar Eclipse’ On Way to Italy’s Figari Festival
TEHRAN (IFILM) -- Iranian short flick ‘Solar Eclipse’ has been vying at the 11th edition of the Figari Film Fest (FFF) in Italy.
Co-directed by Raha Amir-Fazli and Alireza Qasemi, the short film’s synopsis reads, “Just a short time before solar eclipse, Saqi’s life goes through changes”.
The cast list of the short flick includes Khorshid Cheraghipour, Paniz Esmaeeli, Anita Baqeri, Faraz Modiri, and Peyman Naeemi.
The short flick has competed at the 30th Cote Court film festival in France.
According to the official website of the FFF, “Born in 2011, Figari Film Fest is a movie Festival devoted to young and independent cinema, to short films and to young directors’ debuts”.
The Festival, besides promoting international cinema, focuses on developing Sardinian film business and on giving value to the island’s great heritage: its environment, its history, its culture.
The 2021 edition of the event has been slated for June 19-24, 2021.
