TEHRAN (IFILM) -- The 54th edition of the WorldFest Houston in the U.S. has awarded Iranian short film ‘Pass’.
Made by Elika Abdollahi, the short film grabbed the Platinum Remi award at the Short Student section of the U.S. fest.
‘Pass’, aiming to reduce social harms, is about two friends who get stuck in a weird situation due to an accident.
The cast list of the film includes Aziz Nemati, Somayyeh Rahimi, Shadab Kokabi, Arsam Hossein-Panahi, Niha Sheikhi, and Souran Rezvanizadeh.
The 11-minute flick, Abdollahi’s directorial debut, has already been screened at a number of film events, including the Asoric Film Festival and the Tassvir Film Festival, both in Iran, the Salerno International Film Festival in Italy, as well as the Evolution!
