Iron Ore Concentrate Output Exceeds 46mn Tons
TEHRAN (Dispatches) - Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) has reported that the country produced over 46 million tons of iron ore concentrate in the first 11 months of the previous calendar year (March 20, 2020 to Feb. 19, 2021).
IMIDRO said that major mineral and industrial companies produced over 46 million tons of iron concentrate during 11 months showing nearly 6% rise as compared to the last year’s same period.
IMIDRO added that the 10 large iron ore concentrate production companies produced approximately 46,180,542 tons of this product in the said period.
A relevant report in late November said that Iran increased production of iron ore pellet by 15 percent in the first seven months of the previous year (March 20, 2020-October 21, 2020) as compared to the preceding year’s corresponding period.
IMIDRO said that major mineral and industrial companies produced over 46 million tons of iron concentrate during 11 months showing nearly 6% rise as compared to the last year’s same period.
IMIDRO added that the 10 large iron ore concentrate production companies produced approximately 46,180,542 tons of this product in the said period.
