China’s PE Imports From Iran Surge: Report
SHANGHAI (Argus) — Chinese polyethylene (PE) imports from Iran surged to 257,000 tonnes in September, up by 160 percent from August, after falling for five consecutive months since April.
Imports of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) from Iran increased the most among all PE grades to 158,000 tonnes in September, up by 180 percent from August and a 6 percent rise from the same period in 2019.
