TEHRAN (Dispatches) -- A judicial official said Monday "several people” working for foreign intelligence organizations and terrorist groups have received sentences after standing trial in the Iranian city of Kerman.
The head of the Revolutionary Court in the city did not specify the number of people convicted or their sentences. Last October, Fars news agency reported that a plot had been discovered in Kerman to assassinate former Qods Force commander Qassem Soleimani. The report said three people working for "Hebrew-Arab” intelligence organizations had been arrested.
