NIOC to Sell Oil on IRENEX Weekly
TEHRAN (Shana) – Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh has said the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) had planned to offer crude oil on the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on a weekly basis.
Zangeneh said it might take time for the offers to become routine in the IRENEX but the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum would persist in selling oil to the private sector through IRENEX.
He also said that backdoor as well as overt talks were ongoing for selling crude oil to foreign customers.
