TEHRAN (IFILM) - The 26th edition of the International Holy Qur’an Exhibition has been set to open its international section on Sunday.
Currently underway at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Mosalla, the international section of the event will offer a variety of programs and exhibits.
Portraits of 20 Asian Qur’anic experts who lived over the past two centuries will be showcased in the exhibition, the organizers announced on Friday.
Several narrators are set to attend the exhibit to explain more about the characters.
Dozens of the world magazines and periodicals publishing articles on the Qur’an and hadith and a group of world academic centers active in Qur’anic studies will be introduced in the international section.
There are also sections to showcase top translations and interpretations of the Holy Qur’an.
On the sidelines, a multitude of meetings, seminars and art exhibitions on the Holy Qur’an are scheduled.
Also, a number of academics and culture scholars from several Muslim countries attend the exhibit every year.
The exhibition known as the spring of the Holy Qur’an, which will be running until June 4, 2018, is an annual event held during the holy month of Ramadan.
