Record-breaking Revolution Rallies Reveal Iran’s Youth Power
Salaam dear young friends. We again offer you heartiest felicitations, and this time for your enthusiastic record-breaking participation in the February 11 rallies marking the entry of the Islamic Revolution in its 40th glorious year.
You are indeed the pride of the Islamic Republic. It was a spectacular sight last Sunday to see you youngsters rallying in huge numbers, along with people of all age groups, throughout the ten specified routes leading to Tehran’s Azadi or Freedom Square.
Your unprecedented presence was observed throughout the length and breadth of the Islamic Republic, giving the revolution exuberance it needs to continue its victorious march.
You youthful revolutionaries by answering the call of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, to turn out massively in support of the ideals of the Late Imam Khomeini, have hit the US where it hurts.
You are the soldiers of the Lord of the Age, Imam Mahdi (AS) – may God hasten his reappearance to rid Planet Earth of all vestiges of corruption and oppression by establishing the global government of peace, prosperity and justice.
Your vociferous chants of "Allah-o Akbar” as well as "Down with the US”, and "Death to Israel”, not just echoed all over Iran but ricocheted from its towering mountains to reverberate around the globe with precision, filling the corridors of power in Washington, Tel Aviv, and Riyadh, with awe.
It means the enemies cannot do a damn thing against Iran and the Iranian nation, despite their feverish attempts.
Well friends, wasn’t it a wonderful experience for school kids and college students to make a deserving bonfire of the effigies of the archenemies Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu?
The routes of the rallies were lined at regular intervals with special pavilions catering to the needs of the young generation, such as quiz and painting contests, darts and marksmanship galleries, books for all age groups, amusing caricatures, religious literature, photo exhibits, medical camps, interviews, revolutionary anthems, souvenirs of sacred defence and the defence of sacred shrines outside Iran, and awareness of the plight of the oppressed people of Bahrain, Yemen, Nigeria, Afghanistan, and other places, struggling to free themselves from the yokes of tyrants, by emulating the trend set by the people of Iran.
People almost all over the world had their eyes fixed on Iran on the historic 11th of February, and the Iranian people, along with you the upcoming generation, gave yet another splendid display of national and religious devotion to the cause of the Islamic Revolution.
According to reports, admitted even by the western media, this year’s Bahman 22 rallies in Iran saw a record 25 percent increase.
Keep it up youngsters, and make the country invincible in all fields, and a bastion of hope for the world’s less fortunate people aspiring to be break the shackles of exploitation.
