TEHRAN (Kayhan Int’l) -- The Ministry of Intelligence said on Saturday it had dismantled a Daesh-affiliated group that planned to carry out terrorist acts during Quds Day rallies.
Members of the group intended to carry out their terrorist acts in the provinces deep inside the country as well as religious cities, the ministry said in a statement, adding they were identified during a series of combined intelligence operations and arrested prior to any action with their explosives and suicide vests.
