Syrian Gov't Forces Seize Daesh’s Cargo of Grad Missiles

DAMASCUS (FNA) – Syrian Army soldiers and National Defense Forces sized a pickup of the Daesh terrorist group carrying several Grad missiles in western Sweida, provincial sources said.
"A pickup of Daesh carrying at least four Grad missiles was stopped and its cargo was seized by the Syrian government forces after minutes of chasing in the western Sweida to eastern Badiyeh (desert)," the sources said.
Also, Syrian military forces stormed the concentration centers and gatherings of Daesh terrorists in two regions in eastern Sweida, destroying several fuel tankers.
Daesh’s bases in al-Bayader region and on the eastern side of the village of al-Rashideh came under heavy attack by the Syrian army troops, destroying a base, several oil tankers and killing a number of terrorists.
A terrorist commander disclosed in September that several foreign states gave terrorists surface-to-surface Grad rockets of a type not previously supplied to them in response to a major Russian-backed offensive in Aleppo.
The Grad rockets with a range of 22 km and 40 km were supplied in large quantities and would be used on battlefronts in Aleppo, Hama and the coastal region, terrorist commander Colonel Fares al-Bayoush told Reuters at the time.
