Battle of Fallujah

Civilians continue to get out of Fallujah and the surrounding area while the Iraqi Army and popular forces backed by Iranian military advisors continue to push the last remnants of ISIL out of the besieged city.
This is while the corporate media in the West continue to claim that by and large the city is on lockdown with Iraqi troops outside limiting the "corridors” to flee through. Even though some people are stuck in that, and while Iraqi officials are looking for a quick and clean victory, the operation to liberate the city is humane and timely.
Western media outlets also claim starvation and sectarian and ethnic cleansing "by all sides” in Iraq is becoming more intense, and even if the war ends, many refugees will find it too dangerous to return to their homes. They further claim communities which once lived together in peace are too frightened of each other to return to Ramadi.
This is far from the truth. It is Shia and Sunni volunteer forces which are helping the Iraqi Army to clear the city of ISIL militants. What’s more, once liberated, the city will be managed and run by local Sunni authorities.
This means there are no reasons for the civilians to be afraid; there is no sectarian or ethnic agenda; certainly no "displacement, elimination, occupation, mass flight and expulsion” plans; Sunni citizens will be able to return home in safety and with full protection from the central government.
In fact, they will be surprised to find out that "sectarian diversity” hasn’t disappeared in their neighborhoods, making it possible to live together again with their Shia neighbors.
There is no denying that the magnificent victory over the terrorist group of ISIL in Ramadi has caught the United States and its rogue partners off-guard. Little wonder they are using the sectarian card in Fallujah. Backed by corporate media propaganda, they allege liberation will look like occupation. Other silly allegations include volunteer forces will be carrying out summary execution of ISIL sympathizers, looting, ransacking stores, and burning homes for the run of it!
The frantic propagandists know it just too well that these barbaric acts are what their proxies have done in Fallujah and continue to do in other areas under the horrible campaign of sectarian bloodletting.
The Iraqi-led and Iranian-backed campaign to liberate Fallujah that paves the way for liberation of Mosul has had the minimum number of civilian casualties so far, as it has nothing to do with sectarian tensions and everything to do with the Real War on Terror.
