‘We Got Our Rhythm Back Against Canada’

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian national volleyball team’s head coach Raul Lozano said his men got the defensive rhythm in the third set against Canada.
Iran recovered to win the match from two sets down against Canada 3-2 (27-29, 19-25, 25-20, 25-21, 16-14) on the second day of the Men’s World Olympic Qualification Tournament at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium on Sunday.
"Canada showed good level of play today. They had a hard match yesterday and had to come back this morning and play,” Lozano said.
"I’m happy with the result. We were close in the first set but could not control the tempo. We got our rhythm back so our defence was better from the third set,” he added.
Iran has been scheduled to meet France on Tuesday.
