Tehran to Display World’s Most Famous Graffiti’s
TEHRAN (MNA) – An exhibition of graffiti works by prominent Iranian and international artisits will be put on display at Dena Gallery, Tehran.
Titled ‘Different Strokes of Tehran’, the exhibition will showcase works by the most famous graffiti artists from Iran and around the world from 27 November to 7 December, 2015 at Dena Gallery in Tehran.
Giancarlo Petrucci, the Italian artist residing in England, is the curator of the exhibition. Works by Sandra Chevrier, Beejoir, Otto Schade, Icy and Sot, Martin Watson, Pez Houston, Nafir, Vinie Mira, Madc, Ernest Zacharevic, Cept, Canvaz, Cart1 and Levalet will be put on display in lithographs and silk-screen. Among the mentioned artists, Nafir and Icy and Sot are from Iran.
'Different Strokes' is an international event that will be hosted by Tehran this year. The exhibition had previously been held in New York, Malaysia and Kabul.
Dena Gallery is located at No. 4, Susan Alley, Sepahbod Gharani Street, Ferdowsi Square, Tehran.
