New Cave Discovered on SW Iran by Mountaineers

KERMAN (IRNA) - A group of mountain climbers discovered a new cave in Chah-Qal'a region in Sirjan, south-west of Kerman on Saturday.

Head of the mountaineers Mehdi Haj Rabee said the entrance of the cave is vertical and two meters high. The cave is 60 meters long with lime corridors, halls, humid and warm water droppers in the walls.
The new and beautiful cave could be regarded as an invaluable asset for tourism industry, he said.
The city of Sirjan is 175 kilometer west of Kerman.
