Iranian Climber Esmaeilzadeh Wins Gold in 2015 Canadian Nationals
OTTAWA (Tasnim) – Farnaz Esmaeilzadeh from Iran finished first in the Climbing Escalade Canada (CEC) Lead and Speed National Championships held at the Boulders Climbing Gym in Central Saanich.
The Iranian woman won the gold medal with a time of 9.15 seconds.
Alison Stewart-Patterson and Elena Moss came second and third with 12.9 and 13.25 seconds respectively.
Esmaeilzadeh has already won a silver medal in the Open Female division for speed climbing in Sport Climbing Association of British Columbia (SCBC) Provincial Championships held at the Boulders Climbing Gym.
