TEHRAN (IFILM) -- Iranian film ‘A Beautiful Dream’ is set to make a debut screening at the 24th Reel 2 Real International Film Festival for Youth in Canada.
The film, written and directed by Ali Qavitan, will mark its debut appearance at the main competition section of the 2022 Canadian film festival.
‘A Beautiful Dream’ took two years to be captured due to the pandemic.
The cast list is comprised of Hoda Moghaddam-Manesh, Amir-Mohammad Rahmani, Matin Nazari, Yousef Ahmadi and Hadi Hashemi.
Tehran-Based Seventh Art School is in charge of the international distribution of the film.
Qavitan previously directed the biographical film called ‘Dream of Sohrab’ which dramatizes the life story of the leading Persian modern poet and painter Sohrab Sepehri.
‘Dream of Sohrab’ has already been screened in over five international film festivals.
The Reel 2 Real International Film Festival for Youth is dedicated “to showing the best in culturally diverse, authentic programming for children and youth,” writes the official website of the event.
Since 1999, the festival has offered children and youth the opportunity to see the best films from Canada and around the world.
The upcoming edition of the festival is scheduled for April 3, 2022.
