Turkey to Hold Iran Film Week
TEHRAN (IFILM) -- Eight Iranian
features are set to be screened during the Iran Film Week in Turkey’s largest city of Istanbul
According to media reports, the Iran Film Week, organized by Iran’s consulate general in Istanbul, will take place in the Ali Ameri Cultural Center in Istanbul on February 4-7.
During the event, eight Iranian films will be screened.
The movies include ‘Where Are My Shoes?’ by Kiumars Pourahmad, Behrouz Afkhami’s ‘Azar, Shahdokht, Parviz and Others’, ‘Bodyguard’ by Ebrahim Hatamikia and Narges Abyar’s ‘Track 143’.
‘As Simple as That’ and ‘A Cube of Sugar’, both made by Reza Mirkarimi as well as Maziar Miri’s ‘The Painting Pool’ and ‘Sara and Ayda’ are also among the eight films.
The event will also include a session during which the Iranian cinema will be reviewed.
The session will be headed by Turkish director Faysal Soysal, and attended by Iranian filmmaker Maziar Miri and Iranian actress Fereshteh Sadre Orafaee.
