TEHRAN – President Ebrahim Raisi on Wednesday expressed Iran’s readiness to broaden relations with India in various areas and open a “new chapter” in mutual cooperation.
In separate messages to Indian President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Raisi congratulated the Indian government and people on the Republic Day. The Iranian president hailed the outstanding relations between the two countries, as two old civilizations in Asia with rich cultures.
