Qur’an Competition Begins at Jordan’s Middle East University

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The third edition of a Qur’an contest for students of Jordan’s Middle East University got underway.
The competition has been organized by the university’s Faculty of Educational Sciences, Addoustour.com website reported.
It is aimed at identifying Qur’anic talents in such fields as recitation and Tajweed.
Twenty MA and BA students from different levels have taken part in the contest.
Their performance will be analyzed by the panel of arbiters in terms of beauty of voice and observance of Tajweed and recitation rules.
Winners will be announced and awarded at the beginning of the second term of the 2021-2022 acaemic year.
They will represent the university at national and international Qur’anic events.
