Lavrov ‘Optimistic’ About Vienna Talks

MOSCOW (Dispatches) -- Russia said Friday it was cautiously optimistic over “progress” made at negotiations to restore the landmark 2015 nuclear deal and remove U.S. sanctions on Iran.
Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said during an annual press conference he was “optimistic” about the direction of talks. “They are making good progress at the moment, touch wood. We think they will come to an agreement,” he said.
