Amir-Abdollahian to Visit China by End of Week
TEHRAN -- Iran’s Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian will visit China by the end of the week to discuss the 25-year strategic agreement signed by the two countries, the spokesman of the foreign ministry told a news conference in Tehran on Monday. The visit was announced as the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council also sent delegations to China. On Saturday, the Chinese foreign ministry said that foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain as well as GCC secretary general Nayef Falah al-Hajraf would visit China from Monday at Beijing’s invitation, with energy supply security among the data-x-items on the agenda.
