Self-Help Psychology Book Available in Persian
TEHRAN (IBNA) -- ‘Facing Panic: Self-Help for People with Panic Attacks’ (2019), a book by American psychologist Reid Wilson has been published in Persian and is available at Iranian bookstores.
Described as a very comprehensive and a good supplement to other materials, the book has been translated into Persian by Yaser Khajavi. Arjmand Publishing in Tehran has released ‘Facing Panic: Self-Help for People with Panic Attacks’ in 96 pages.
The book teaches seven steps to break the cycle of panic and regain control of your life, including techniques and exercises to manage and overcome panic attacks and panic disorder. Written by renowned anxiety disorders expert Reid Wilson (Ph.D.), this work provides charts to help you practice and track the skills you learn to overcome your panic.
Wilson is a clinical psychologist who directs the Anxiety Disorders Treatment Center in Chapel Hill and Durham, NC. He is also the author of ‘Stopping the Noise in Your Head: The New Way to Overcome Anxiety’ and ‘Worry and Don’t Panic: Taking Control of Anxiety Attacks’. He is also the co-author of ‘Stop Obsessing!’
