Tasnim News Agency Launches Website in Hebrew

TEHRAN – Iran’s Tasnim news agency on Monday launched a Hebrew-language version of its website.
Tasnim timed the launch of its Hebrew site to coincide with the second anniversary of the martyrdom of top anti-terror commander Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani, who was assassinated in a U.S. drone strike on January 3, 2020.
In a formal message, Tasnim CEO Majid Qolizadeh said that while relatively few people in the world speak Hebrew, the agency has decided to set up a Hebrew-language site due to the “strategic importance that the issue of Palestine has for the Islamic Republic of Iran and for Muslims across the world.”
Qolizadeh said the target audience for the new site is Hebrew speakers worldwide, including in Occupied Palestine.
“The undeniable reality is that not only have the people of the world been deprived of receiving news on the whole truth about the occupied Palestine and the Zionist crimes, but the reports that are fed even to the residents of the occupied territories are being extensively manipulated and managed,” he said.
“Tasnim tries to help the residents of the occupied territories know more about the true nature and behavior of their leaders, get informed about the shaky and dark future of usurpation and occupation of the land of a nation and about the crimes against them, and receive more accurate and genuine arguments and capabilities of the Zionist regime’s enemies.”
