Rockets Fired From Gaza to Israeli-Occupied Territories
AL-QUDS (Dispatches) – Rockets fired from the Gaza Strip on Saturday landed in the Mediterranean Sea off central parts of the occupied territories, the Zionist regime’s military said.
It was not immediately clear whether the rockets were meant to hit the occupied territories, but Gaza-based resistance movement often test-fire missiles toward the sea. There were no reports of casualties.
Informed sources with Palestinian resistance groups told the Palestine al-Aan news website that the rocket fire came during stormy weather on Saturday morning, and that Gaza-based combatants were test-firing surface-to-surface projectiles.
They came after the Zionist military fired tank shells at the besieged coastal enclave that left a number of people injured.
Large explosions were heard in a number of occupied cities shortly after 7 a.m. local time (0500 GMT) early Saturday. Video circulating on social media showed an explosion in the sea off the coast of Jaffa.
