Iran Reports Lowest COVID Deaths in Months
TEHRAN – The daily deaths from the coronavirus in Iran fell down to 34 on Friday, marking one of the lowest rates since the pandemic began, the health ministry said.
The fatalities over the past 24 hours raised overall death toll from COVID-19 in the country to 131,606, it said. It also recorded 1,703 new cases in the period, taking the country’s caseload to 6,194,400. Some 2,694 patients are in severe condition and are being treated in intensive care facilities, it said.
