Missed Opportunity of the Capture of US Den of Terrorism in Iraq

On the eve of the “Missed Opportunity” of capturing the den of aggressors, spies, and criminals, the Iraqi Resistance has issued a dire warning to the US occupiers against having any illusions of staying in Iraq after the deadline, as the current Christian Calendar Year 2021 is about to end on Friday.
The Iraqi Resistance Coordination Commission (IRCC) has made it clear that all US bases should be handed over to the Iraqi military and the government should ensure the exit of all American military personnel from Iraqi soil.
If the “occupying forces” linger any longer after expiry of the date of their departure, this would be considered a violation of the laws of the country and breach of the Baghdad-Washington accord on this issue.
As for the pretext of the US to provide training to the Iraqi armed forces, first of all such an imperfect training is not needed in view of the impotence shown by the US-trained Iraqi personnel in 2014 when faced by the takfiri terrorists.
Secondly, it is for the Iraqi government and its military, along with the IRCC, to get together to decide what technical equipment is really required from the US and whether American technology is on par with the superior armaments available to Iraq from other sources and in possession of the Popular Mobilization Units.
Tuesday’s statement said the Iraqi Resistance Groups have waited so far so as to give yet another chance to the US occupying forces to leave the country as demanded by the law, and any delay in this regard will be viewed as an affront to the Iraqi parliament’s unanimously approved bill on their withdrawal.
Observers note that the Iraqi nation, which is preparing for commemorating on a national scale the 2nd martyrdom anniversary of the icons of anti-terrorism, so criminally murdered by the US at Baghdad International Airport, that is, Iran’s General Qassem Soleimani and Iraq’s Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, will no longer tolerate any lawlessness on the part of the US occupying forces.
They also point out that two years back in 2019 the Iraqi masses had nearly triumphed on December 31 in capturing the US Den of Terrorism in Baghdad, but when victory was near were dissuaded by naïve politicians unable to understand the satanic nature of the American regime.
It was a costly lapse that allowed the US occupiers to entrench themselves in Iraq and emboldened the dastardly regime of Donald Trump to carry out the terrorist strike on January 3, 2020 that resulted in the martyrdom of Soleimani and al-Muhandis.
Today Iraq would have been truly independent in the real sense of the term, if the Iraqi masses had ignored the faulty advice of politicians and pressed ahead with the daring operation to seize the Den of American terrorism that would have exposed to the whole world the devilish nature of Washington and its involvement in the crimes against humanity of not just the Ba’thist regime of Saddam but also the atrocities of the macabrely murderous takfiri terrorists, in league with certain regimes of the region.
It is still not too late to unmask the US and expel it from the sacred soil of Iraq, even if it requires military measures and the spirit of attaining martyrdom, of which the valiant Muslim masses of Iraq are highly capable.
Remember: Opportunities missed rarely come again.
