Persian Books Translated Into Turkish

TEHRAN (IBNA) -- Two Iranian books on the Sacred Defense, ‘Immigrant from the Land of the Sun’ ‎and ‘Water Never Dies’ have been translated into Turkish by Pol Literary and ‎Translation Agency in Turkey. ‎
Both books have been written by Hamid Hesam, translated into Turkish by Aykut Pazarbasi and published by the Turkish Feta Publishing House in Istanbul.
‘Immigrant from the Land of the Sun’ (Turkish: Günes Ülkesinden Gelen Anne) released in 197 pages features the memories of Koniko Yamamura, the mother of soldier Mohammad Babai who was martyred in the Sacred Defense (The eight-year war former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein imposed on Iran in 1980-1988).
Koniko Yamamura is the only Japanese woman whose 19-year-old son Mohammad was martyred during the Iranian military operation Valfajr (Dawn) 1 which took place in 1983.
The other book, ‘Water Never Dies’ (Turkish: ‘Su Ölümsüzdür’) is centered on the memories of Iranian war veteran and former commander Mirza Mohammad Solgi. Released in 415 pages, the book won the First Jalal Al-e Ahmad Literary Award.
