White Unicorn Festival Names ‘Goodnight Melika’ Best
TEHRAN (IFILM) -- Iranian short film ‘Goodnight Melika’ has been awarded at White Unicorn International Film Festival (WUIFF).
‘Goodnight Melika’ was named the Best International Short Film in the November-December Session of WUIFF.
The film is written and directed by Alborz Poursayad.
“When no one wants you, you sleep with the aim of not waking up, may be forever…,” a synopsis for the film reads.
The White Unicorn International Film Festival is “jointly organized by professional organizations from India (WUIFF), Hong Kong (Create Asia Group), Italy (L’ulcera del signor Wilson), and Japan (Studio51)”, the event’s website reads.
It is “a monthly film festival held in the heart of Kolkata, the City of Joy, and Honk Kong”.
