Greetings on Yalda and Christmas

Salaam dear young friends, how are you all? Hope you are all doing well by the Almighty Allah. First and foremost, we urge our dear readers to be extra careful because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that has engulfed the world. Many parts for the world are facing the new variant of this deadly virus known as the Omicron.
We earnestly pray to the All-Merciful to send showers of Mercy on Iran and other everyone else in this world to get rid of this deadly disease.
Well friends, as you all know last night was “Shab-e Yalda” or the winter solistice which starts on the eve of 22nd December (1st of the Iranian month of Dey).
For your information it is the year’s longest night which heralds the beginning of winter in the northern hemisphere, while in the southern hemisphere it is the beginning of summer. The winter solstice occurs exactly when the axial tilt of the Planet’s polar hemisphere is farthest away from the sun around which it orbits.
These are all the signs of the Majesty of the One and Only Creator of the universe, Who sent for our guidance a long line of Messengers, some of them with heavenly books, culminating in the universal mission of Islam entrusted to Prophet Muhammad (SAWA).
Allah the Almighty in the Holy Qur’an mentions: “He made subservient the night and the day for you, and the sun, the moon and the stars are subservient by His command. There are indeed signs in that for a people who apply reason.” (16:12)
Iranians also use the purely Persian term “Shab-e Chelleh”, meaning the night of forty, which refers to the forty days of winter that are supposedly the coldest and initially hardest to bear. “Chelleh Neshini” or sitting for “chelleh” is a social occasion when families and friends gather usually at the house of an elder (grandparents, aunts or uncles) on the eve of winter. “Ajeel”, which is a mixture of dry fruits, edible seeds and nuts, along with fresh winter fruits are served to the guests. Watermelon and pomegranates are the traditional fresh fruits of this night.
Well friends, we would also like to congratulate our Christian readers of this column on the occasion of Christmas. As you all know, Jesus, the Prophet of Peace, used to be kind and affectionate to children, was concerned about their future, and strove to groom them into morally upright members of the society.
These ethereal values preached by the Son of the Virgin Mary seem strange and alien to the unethical West, where children are taught to sin, have no concept of God and spirituality, and are preyed upon by even the corrupt pedophile clergymen at churches.
Christendom today is tightly controlled by the unrepentant offspring of Judas Iscariot who continue to slander Jesus and Mary, and yet Israel the Anti-Christ is pampered and protected by those who claim be followers of the Messiah.
Paradoxically, Islam and Muslims are loathed by the self-styled Christian regimes and media horns of the West, despite the fact that the holy Qur’an, which has a Surah (chapter) dedicated to the Virgin Mary, confirms her spotlessly pure personality and corroborates the mission and miracles of Jesus, whom Muslims regard as one of the Five Greatest Prophets – the four others being Noah, Abraham, Moses, and the Messenger of Mercy, Prophet Muhammad (SAWA).
Thus, dear young friends the West is the victim of an intricate conspiracy hatched centuries ago by the Israelites to keep the Christians in dark about the prophecies of Jesus (AS), who had foretold in explicit words the coming of the Last and Greatest Prophets, whom he called “Hmda”, and which in Arabic means Ahmad (the Praiseworthy) – the epithet of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA).
God bless you all, goodbye and Merry Christmas.
