The Unforgettable Days
Salaam dear young friends. How are you all today, hope you are all doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah.
The weather in Tehran is frosty with snow covering the mountains. Most of Iran is cold this winter, but unfortunately, air pollution has become a major problem for mega cities like Tehran.
While going out please be careful as the air pollution has increased and doctors are advising everyone to stay out of pollution.
Rains and snow are vital for revival of the land and the filling of reservoirs and cleaning the air we breathe. Of course, excessive rains at times lead to floods and cause inconvenience to urban life and maybe harmful for some crops, but this is the Will of the All-Wise God, and whatever He deems necessary for His creatures, He decrees.
As our readers remembered, yesterday ago was the anniversary of what had happened on 2015 in Zaria, Nigeria. It was a crime against humanity by the Nigerian military, and of course, by the government, to massacre peaceful citizens on the behest of the US, the Zionists, and the Arab regimes. The venerable leader of Nigeria’s 10-million Shi’a Muslims, Shaikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, had been shot and abducted by the military.
If the enemies of Islam think they can exterminate the followers of the Ahl al-Bayt through such organized mass massacres, they are mistaken. The devotees of the Prophet’s Blessed Household are not afraid of martyrdom, and their dynamic ideology is soon bound to conquer the hearts and minds of anyone with an iota of conscience and rationality.
We pray for the souls of the martyrs; we supplicate to God for release of the innocents held by the tyrants.
Well, as you all know Saturday will be the 13th of Jamadi al-Awwal, the day on which, according to a narration, the Noblest-Ever Lady left the world a martyr, seventy-five days after the passing away of her Illustrious Father.
She was none other than Hazrat Fatema Zahra (SA), the Immaculate Daughter of the Almighty’s Last and Greatest Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (SAWA).
The discourses on the life and times of this Great Lady who was martyred in the prime of her youth while defending the “wilayah” or divinely-decreed right of leadership of her Infallible Husband, Imam Ali ibn Abi Taleb (AS), enlighten us, especially children and youngsters, on the dynamic personality of this paragon par-excellence of virtue.
She left behind four young children – two sons and two daughters – and had instilled in them the essence of faith and humanitarian values to such an extent that on growing up, Imam Hasan (AS), Imam Husain (AS), Hazrat Zainab (SA) and Hazrat Omm Kolthoum, in their own unique way, left as lasting legacy for mankind the bezels of wisdom, courage, magnanimity, honesty, modesty, piety, patience, steadfastness, and devotion to the commandments of the One and Only Creator.
Insha Allah, we will elaborate more on the life of the Noblest Lady in our next week’s chat. Good-bye all till next week.
