West’s Military Action Against Iran Out of Question
TEHRAN – The head of the
Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force said Sunday the West has realized that it cannot militarily act against Iran.
General Amirali Hajizadeh made the remarks during an address to military commanders, professors, and students at Imam Hussein University of Tehran.
“In the past the Americans used to wage wars against slaves. Today, however, the issue of slavery has changed and modernized in a way that drives humans to move in the direction of their colonial goals,” he said.
“In other words, Western think tanks and spy agencies with the help of some regional countries resort to sectarian wars in West Asia and parts of Africa to achieve their goals,” Gen. Hajizadeh said.
“Westerners have come to the conclusion that they cannot militarily do a damn thing against Iran. Hence, they seek to spread disappointment and division among establishments in order to implement their plans,” he added.
The West, the general said, seeks to instill the thinking that the religious rule cannot meet the needs of the people and run a country.
“We must prove to everyone that a religious and revolutionary management not only meets the needs of the people but it can also serve as a good example for other countries,” he said, adding Iran’s advances in missile and drone industries owe much to this approach.
