50mn Iranians Have Received Both COVID Vaccines
TEHRAN -- The Iranian health ministry said on Sunday that about 50 million citizens have received both doses of the coronavirus vaccine.
More than 110.57 million doses of coronavirus vaccines have been administered in the country as of Sunday, with over 49.37 million people having been fully vaccinated, the ministry figures showed.
Over the past 24 hours, the ministry detected 2,289 new coronavirus cases, taking the overall caseload to 6,154,800.
Out of them, 357 patients were hospitalized. The ministry also put the death toll from COVID-19 in Iran at 130,722, after 61 patients lost their lives over the past 24 hours.
Among those undergoing treatment in medical centers at present, 3,104 coronavirus patients are in the intensive care units.
