It seems our brothers in the Arab states of the Persian Gulf are slowly waking up to the threat posed to the Muslim world by the illegal Zionist entity, whose lawlessness and impudence knows no bounds and which, because the blind support of the US, continues its aerial attacks on Syria, besides threatening Lebanon and other countries with war.
Yesterday in our Viewpoint Column we focused on the humiliating “water for energy deal” between Jordan and Israel, and the massive response to it by the Jordanian people who staged huge rallies to denounce that “the gas of the enemy is an occupation!”
We said “the hearts of the Arab people are still alive and beating with the Islamic spirit of resistance against the enemies.”
Today, it is heartening to learn that Kuwait has banned the entry of commercial vessels carrying goods to and from Occupied Palestine, a few days after the sheikhdom reiterated its support for the oppressed Palestinian people and condemned the desecration of the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil city by Zionist president, Isaac Herzog – son of an Irish Jew with no connection to Palestine.
Kudos to Kuwait for its brave stand in prohibiting entry permits for even ships coming from other countries with goods from Occupied Palestine.
Kuwait, whose laws specify that individuals and companies cannot conclude agreements with organizations or persons living in Occupied Palestine and cannot deal financially or commercially with persons who have an interest there, even if they live outside Israel, should give a piece of brotherly advise to the rulers of UAE and Bahrain, who have sold Arab honour to the Zionists.
Hopefully, the Arab states, whether of West Asia or of North Africa, which have betrayed the Palestinian cause and have committed treason against the Ummah by allying themselves with the avowed enemies of Islam, would come to their senses.
No true Muslim, as well as no Arab, will ever recognize Israel, which in an imperialist implant in the heart of the Islamic world and should therefore be eradicated.
Conscientious Arab Muslims and states are always aware of the danger to the region from the Zionist tumour.
Recently, Algerian Foreign Minister, Ramtane Lamamra (رمطان لعمامرة), warned neighbouring Morocco of the dangerous consequences to North Africa posed by the military cooperation between the unelected regime in Rabat and illegal Israel.
In his statement last Friday on the sidelines of the 8th high-level symposium on peace and security organized by the African Union in Oran, he said normalization of ties with Israel is an “irresponsible” decision that sacrifices the people of the North African region and deprives them of their inalienable rights.
Calling on Arab countries to support the oppressed Palestinian people instead of backing Israel’s infiltration in the Arab world, he added: “The Moroccan authorities, in their alliance with the Zionist entity, are contributing to an unprecedented escalation of Israeli hegemony over the region.”
It is to be noted that the people of Morocco, like the people of Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, Bahrain, and other pro-Zionist Arab states, have called on the king who is not of their own choice to end the so-called normalization process with Israel.
Last week, Moroccans, including activists and ordinary people, took part in massive protests in the cities of Oujda, Berkane, Ben Slimane, Beni-Mellal and Oulad Teima, denouncing ties with Israel.
This awakening of the Arab Muslim masses to the dangers posed to the Ummah by the Zionist entity, will Insha Allah (God Willing) spread all over the Arab world and force the few traitorous regimes to stop from backstabbing the Palestinian people and further insulting the sanctities of Islam.
