Zionist Settlers Vandalize Palestinian Home for 2nd Time in Days

WEST BANK (Dispatches) – Zionist settlers have sprayed racist graffiti on the home of the Palestinian al-Kurd family in Al-Quds’ Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, as Palestinian families in the east of the city continue to be threatened with eviction from their homes.
According to the Palestine News Agency (WAFA) and photos it published on Twitter, settlers spray-painted markings on the Palestinian-themed artistic murals on the Al-Kurd family’s outer walls, in an attempt to cover them up. The incident makes it the second time in less than a week that their property has been vandalized.
Protests erupted and were brutally suppressed in Al-Quds in May this year when Zionist courts resumed orders to seize Palestinian homes in the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah and then, in the following month, to demolish homes in Silwan.
The East Al-Quds neighborhoods, particularly Silwan which is home to between 30,000 and 50,000 Palestinians, are now subsequently attempting to keep their homes through the occupying regime’s “legal system”.
Meanwhile, the Zionist regime’s authorities banned Bnei Sakhnin, a major football club for Palestinians from playing matches in its own stadium.
The decision comes after the team beat a Zionist team, whose fans are notorious for celebrating their anti-Palestinian racism.
On Thursday, the occupying regime’s ministry of economy and industry said that it was revoking the license of Doha Stadium in Sakhnin, a Palestinian town in northern parts of the occupied territories, arguing that the club had exceeded the permitted numbers of fans as agreed with authorities.
The Arab High Committee said that Doha Stadium’s closure was “a retaliatory, arbitrary and totally unjustified political step against Abna Sakhnin and its fans: all Arab fans.”
The committee also condemned the use of force against Bnei Sakhnin fans by Zionist police following the match with the Zionist team, which was attended by Palestinian members of the regime’s parliament, who celebrated the win.
