Zionists Level Palestinian Farmland in Gaza

GAZA (Dispatches) – Zionist troops on Tuesday carried out an incursion into the east of the Gaza Strip and destroyed the Palestinian’s farmlands, the Palestinian Information Center reported.
According to local sources, armored bulldozers escorted by several military vehicles advanced from a military post into an area in the east of Gaza City.
The bulldozers leveled and dug swaths of agricultural land, which are located a few meters from the fence between the besieged enclave and the occupied territories.
The Zionist regime’s army regularly shoots at and levels agricultural land in the area around the fence causing considerable damage to crops and preventing farmers from working their fields.
Such incursions are a violation of the last ceasefire between the Palestinian resistance and the regime, which came into effect in May.
Meanwhile, a group of Zionist settlers on Tuesday started to build a new illegal outpost on a tract of Palestinian land they seized in Ein al-Auja village, northeast of Ariha in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Information Center reported.
According to local sources, settlers stormed an area close to the village in vehicles and construction equipment and embarked on building their outpost.
In recent years, Ein Al-Auja villagers have suffered from demolition and persecution campaigns and repeated attacks and violations by Zionist settlers and troops.
Its residents are denied access to basic services by regime authorities due to its location in ‘Area C’ of the occupied West Bank, which is Palestinian land under Zionist occupation.
