Tehran, Beijing Enhance Publishing Cooperation

TEHRAN (IBNA) -- At the unveiling ceremony of ten Persian books translated into Chinese language, ‎Chinese Cultural Attaché to Iran announced that a MoU signed between the cultural ‎officials of the two countries will back the cooperation of Iranian and Chinese publishers. ‎
The unveialing ceremony which was held in the meetings hall of Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance was attended by Cultural Deputy of Culture Ministry Yaser Ahmadvand, Chinese Cultural Attaché Zhozy Haw and Ali Feridouni, the Secretary of Iran’s Grant Program (or Grant Plan) aimed to back the translation and publication of Iranian books into foreign languages.
Expressing pleasure over the translation and publication of these ten children’s books into Chinese which has been done within the framework of the Grant Program, Zhozy Haw said that these books will surely be welcomed in China by both children and adults.
‘The Bird, the Little Boy and the Train’ by eminent Iranian poet and author Ahmadreza Ahmadi; ‘I’m Scared’, ‘There Was the Moon and a Fox’ by Anahita Taimourian; ‘Mr. Frog’ by Mostafa Khoraman and ‘What Should I Wear?’ by Payam Ebrahimi are among the Iranian books unveils at the event.
