Iran Among ‘Spectacular’ Countries at Expo 2020 Dubai
TEHRAN (IFILM) -- Iran
pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai has recently been selected by CNN as one of the most spectacular structures being set up by participating countries.
CNN, the Cable News Network, has published a report under the title “The most spectacular pavilions at Expo 2020 Dubai”, in which the images of 15 pavilions including pavilion of Iran has been listed.
Others in the list also include pavilions of the UK, Australia, Pakistan, Russia, Japan, Switzerland, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.
As stated in the report, “World Expos are among the largest and oldest international events, and countries use the platform to showcase their latest technological innovations and cultural heritage. But often, the biggest attraction is the national pavilions.”
“A series of blue boxes draped in fired clay balls make up the Iran pavilion. Each box showcases different elements of the country’s culture, tradition and handicrafts. Streams of water accompany visitors down walkways and into the pavilion, designed by architects Shift Process,” the report said.
The Iranian pavilion is an attempt to highlight a peaceful coexistence and to showcase Iran’s ancient civilization and traditions, its rituals and its people.
There is also an Iranian restaurant with the country’s atmosphere and traditional drinks.
Iran pavilion’s tourism hall introduces one of Iran’s provinces by showing visual content every five days.
Since many countries and companies are also looking to the expo (the first major global event since the coronavirus pandemic) to boost trade and investment, the attendees from Iran are also taking the opportunity to reveal more about medical tourism and off-the-beaten tracks.
Visitors can experience carpet weaving while listening to Iranian music.
Over 190 countries are participating in the Expo 2020 Dubai.
Expo 2020 Dubai is currently underway from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022, for 6 months.
