TEHRAN (IFILM) --- Iran’s ‘Fort-Da Game’ has won an award at the 2021 edition of the Austrian Independent Film Festival.
Written, directed and edited by Amir-Hossein Shirali and Ali Taqizadeh, the 18-minute Iranian flick won the Best Experimental Award at the 12th edition of the Austrian event.
The cast list of the film includes Diba Beihaqi, Mehraveh Hossein-Ali, Negar Takhtkeshha, Bahareh Amin, Dorsa Armand, Nona Adinan, and Dorsa Khalafpour.
The Austrian Independent Film Festival is the biggest event for independent films in Austria. The competitions are held for international shorts, features and documentary films and all Austrian films. The competition takes place in the fall.
The 2021 edition of the Austrian event was held in October.
The 20-minute ‘Lene 1927 Bandar-Abbas’ by Behrouz Abbasi-Dashti was the other representative of Iran at this edition of the Austrian Independent Film Festival.
