TEHRAN -- Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Muhammad Hussein Baqeri Wednesday said “good agreements” have been reached on naval cooperation with Russia.
Speaking after a meeting with Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Vice-Admiral Vladimir Lvovich Kasatonov in Saint Petersburg, he said the participation of Iranian vessels in naval drill held by Russia, exchange of operational experiences, joint research on naval equipment, and reciprocal presence of Russian warships in drills held in Iran were discussed.
