Worldwide Entries Find Way to Iran’s Roshd Festival
TEHRAN (IFILM) -- The secretariat of the Roshd International Film Festival has received 1950 films from 150 countries.
The secretary of the 51st edition of the event told the media that they are evaluating 1950 films requesting to compete at animation, short film, feature film, short documentary and feature length documentary sections.
The U.S., India, Italy, Turkey, Russia, Spain, Brazil, France, Egypt and the UK have the most sent works to the festival.
Founded in 1963, the Roshd International Film Festival is Iran’s first and longest standing global film event.
The festival’s main goal is to exchange educational films globally with the main theme being science, education, and ethics.
