Saber Kazemi Chosen 2021 Asian Club Volleyball Championship MVP
TEHRAN – Foolad Sirjan opposite spiker Saber Kazemi was named as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2021 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship.
Kazemi inspired Foolad to win the title in the competition.
In the final match against Al Arabia of Qatar, Kazemi scored 28 points, including 22 attacks from 46 attempts and 5 aces.
Foolad Sirjan’s Mahdi Jelveh Ghaziani along with Almaty’s Nodirkhan Kadirkhanov were also named the Best Middle Blockers.
The Iranian team defeated Al-Arabi of Qatar in the final 3-1 (25-19, 21-25, 25-23, 25-22).
Kazakhstan’s Burevestnik Almaty also won the bronze medal after beating Thailand’s Nakhon Ratchasima QminC 3-0.
The competition was held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from October 8 to 15.
The Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship is an annual international volleyball club tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA).
Foolad qualified for the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship as the Asia representative.
