Israel Permits Sacrilege of al-Aqsa as its Days Draw to End

By: Kayhan Int’l Staff Writer

Desperation for prolonging its precarious existence on Palestinian soil is writ large on the face of the illegal Zionist entity, whose days are numbered.
This is evident by its futile moves, whether in Palestine or in the neighbourhood, such as air raids on Syria, spying in Lebanon, aiding terrorists in Iraq’s Kurdistan and the Caucasus Republic of Azerbaijan, and setting up so-called diplomatic ties with the rootless and anti-people regimes of the Persian Gulf.
The most despairing measure is recent permission given to Zionist occupier groups to desecrate the sanctity of Islam’s third holiest site, the al-Aqsa Mosque in Bayt al-Moqaddas, by a kangaroo court that ruled “it is not a “criminal act” for trespassers to silently murmur a so-called prayer on Muslim property.
Wonder what kind of religion, if any, the ungodly Zionists follow! It is clear that they are not the adherents of Judaism which does not allow violence, let alone condoning infringement on a sacred site of another religion.
The Palestinian Resistance Movement, which a few months ago carried out the “Sword of al-Qods” operations through a barrage of missiles that shattered the supposed iron dome as a warning to Israel against sacrilege of the precincts of the al-Aqsa Mosque by Zionist groups, has called the latest blasphemous measure by the usurper entity as “declaration of war” against Islam.
Muslim countries have been swift to denounce the Israeli court’s decision, but they should know that mere condemnation is not enough, unless accompanied by practical measures to teach the Israelis a lesson.
If those Muslim countries which have expressed anger at the latest violation of the sanctity of al-Aqsa are serious, then they should make common cause with the Axis of Resistance, which sees that the only solution to the chronic question of Palestine is the end of Israel.
Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hussain Amir-Abdollahian, was absolutely right when during his recent visit to Lebanon he told representatives of Palestinian factions at the Iranian embassy in Beirut that the Zionists cannot have a good night’s sleep.
He informed them that during his trip to New York last month for the annual UN General Assembly session, he told UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in a meeting that the Palestinian issue is a vital one and Iran does not recognize the Zionist entity.
Emphasizing that Tehran knows only one country called Palestine, whose permanent capital is Holy Qods, Iran’s Top Diplomat made it clear: “Do not doubt that the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Leader (of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei) and the people of Iran will continue their strong support for the Resistance and Palestine until the liberation of all the historical lands of Palestine and until the liberation of Qods and al-Aqsa Mosque.”
We are indeed longing for the day when not only the Zionist terrorist bases near out borders will be wiped out, but Israel itself will be erased permanently from the map of the Levant as was the fate 1187 of the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem which the Crusader invaders from Europe had illegally established on Palestinian soil some eight centuries ago.
