Zionist Troops Kill Three Palestinians
WEST BANK (Dispatches) – Three Palestinians were killed on Thursday by Zionist troops in occupied East Al-Quds, the West Bank, and Gaza Strip, according to the occupying regime’s sources.
Israa Khozaimieh, a 30-year-old Palestinian woman from Qabatiya village in the northern West Bank, was shot by Zionist troops at the Chain Gate of Al-Aqsa compound.
The troops claimed that Khozaimieh had attempted to stab officers stationed outside the compound when she was stopped for a check. However, no casualties among the occupying regime’s police were reported.
In the early hours of Thursday, Zionist troops opened fire at Alaa Naser Shafiq Zayoud, in Burqin town, north of the West Bank.
Two Palestinians were injured during the occupying regime’s night raid, and were taken to Ibn Sina Specialised Hospital in Jenin town. The regime’s army did not report injuries among its ranks.
A third Palestinian, 41-year-old Mohammed Abdulkarim Ammar, was killed by the regime in the besieged Gaza Strip while catching birds in the eastern area of the Bureij refugee camp, which is close to the fence that separates the blockaded strip from the occupied territories.
In another development, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club warned that the lives of seven Palestinian prisoners who have been on hunger strike for over two months is in danger as the occupying regime’s authorities refuse to respond to their demands and end their detention.
“Seven prisoners continue their hunger strike against their administrative detention, the oldest of them are the two prisoners Kayed Al Fasfous and Miqdad Al Qawasmeh who are continuing the hunger strike for more than two months and facing health conditions that are becoming more serious day by day,” the group said in a statement.
According to the statement, prisoner AlaaAl-Araj has been on a hunger strike for 51 days, Hisham Abu Hawash for 43 days, Rayeq Bsharat for 38 days, Shady Abu Eker for 35 days, and Hasan Shokeh for around nine days.
The organization said the occupying regime refuses to respond to the demand that their administrative detention – imprisonment without charge or trial – be brought to an end, and their health is deteriorating as a result.
