Beijing Book Fair Hosts Iran’s Book, Literature House
TEHRAN (IBNA) -- The 28th Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) which opened on September 14 and will run by September 18 is hosting Iran’s Book and Literature House representing the publishing industry of our country.
The event which is held in both with physical presence and online is underway in New China International Exhibition Center with Pakistan as the guest of honor. Iran’s Book and Literature House is participating in both sections.
This year’s Beijing International Book Fair will be a “Smart BIBF”, utilizing new technologies such as big data and AI to provide the best possible exhibition experience online. Digital communications and online trade services will create an all-year-round communications platform for the international book publishing industry.
The actions taken by Iran’s Book and Literature House are introducing Iranian publishing industry, introducing the best Iranian authors of children and young adults books in English, introducing Iranian books of children and young adults books in English.
Providing information about Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) and introducing “Books from Iran” website which contains 1900 book titles with English abstracts are among other measures of the Book and Literature House.
Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) was founded in 1986, hosted by China National Publications Import and Export (Group) Co., Ltd. It has become the second largest book fair in the world, the most influential book exhibition platform in China and the most international book fair in Asia.
Beijing International Book Fair attracts more than 2600 exhibitors from more than 90 countries and regions every year. It has been committed to copyright trade of foreign publications and digital multimedia publications, publications import and export and reading promotion in China. BIBF has become a large-scale international publishing exchange event covering books, digital, animation and other industries.
