Brazil, Iran Discuss Boosting Trade Exchanges
TEHRAN - Iran’s Ambassador to Brasilia Hussein Qaribi and Chairwoman of Brazil’s Senate Foreign Relations and Defense Committee (CRE) Katia Abreu have held talks on ways to promote trade exchanges.
The two sides also reviewed the latest situation of bilateral relations, according to IRNA Thursday report.
At the meeting, which was held in Brasilia, Iran’s ambassador highlighted the important role that Brazil’s Senate can play in developing bilateral ties.
For her part, the Brazilian senator expressed her country’s readiness to facilitate promotion of cooperation.
At the end, the two stressed the necessity of stability in economic relations and increase in trade exchanges.
Brazil’s Senate with 81 senators plays a leading role in country’s foreign policy and political system.
