BAGHDAD (Shafaq News) – A blast from a roadside bomb reportedly hit a U.S. convoy in Iraq’s southern governorate of al-Muthanna earlier on Sunday.
A source told Shafaq News agency that the explosion targeted a supply convoy of the U.S.-led coalition on the outskirts of Samawa, the capital city of the governorate. The attack resulted in no casualties, and the convoy resumed its march towards its destination. Attacks on U.S. convoys have been on the rise as the officials and people view American forces as occupiers.
