SANAA (Press TV) -- A new major victory has been achieved by the Yemeni army against the Saudi-backed forces in Yemen’s oil-rich province of Ma’rib.
Yemen’s armed forces have recaptured the strategic Rahabah district in the southern Ma’rib, meaning that all supply routes linking Al-Bayda and Ma’rib will be cut off from the Saudi-backed forces. The Yemeni army has also managed to take control of other military sites, overlooking the city of Ma’rib from the western and northern sides, which would help the armed forces continue advancing towards the Harib and al-Juba areas.
