Tokyo Holds Iranian Film Week

TEHRAN (IFILM) -- The 4th Iranian Film Week is set to be held in Japan’s capital, Tokyo, starting from Friday.
The fourth edition of the Iranian Film Week will take place on August 13-15.
Four screenings will be held daily in this edition of the event.
‘Sara and Ayda’ and ‘A House on 41st Street’ are among the Persian films with Japanese subtitles which will be screened during the 2021 Iranian Film Week.
The event is organized by the cultural office at Iran’s embassy in Japan, and other parties, including the Islamic Culture and Relation Organization, and Farabi Cinema Foundation.
Since 2018, the cultural office at Iran’s embassy in Japan has translated and subtitled 12 Iranian films, including ‘Bodyguard’ by Ebrahim Hatamikia, ‘Sweet Taste of Imagination’ by Kamal Tabrizi and ‘So Close, So Far’ by Reza Mirkarimi.
