Noori Petrochemical Plant Net Profits Rise 270%
TEHRAN - The CEO of Noori Petrochemical Company Taghi Sanei has announced an increase of 526,772 tons in the complex’s output in the calendar year of 1399 which ended on March 20 compared to the preceding year, which resulted in a 270% percent rise in the company’s net profits.
According to Noori Petrochemical Company, Sanei told the annual general assembly of the company on Sunday that it succeeded to supply of 4.865 million tons of products during the last calendar year, which was 526,772 tons more than the preceding year.
He also announced that a new production record was set in the company during the year.
According to him, the facility operated at 109% of its nameplate capacity during the year and 16% beyond its planned production.
He stated that in 1399, “we witnessed the highest production of benzene by Noori in the last 10 years; in this year, 476,342 tons of benzene was produced, which is 14.3% more than last year and 11% more than the nominal capacity of the facility. Also, production of paraxylene in the mentioned period increased by 15.7% compared to the previous fiscal year and reached 792,723 tons, which was 7% higher than the nominal capacity of the company, he said.
