Italy Exhibits Festival of Iranian Tribes
TEHRAN (Honaronline) -- A festival on Iranian tribes along with a photo exhibition of dramatic arts will open in Florence, Italy, in July 2022.
A festival on Iranian tribes along with a photo exhibition and dramatic arts will be held for seven days in Florence, Italy, in July 2022, said Antonio Corrado, the head of Abruzzo Avventura.
The Italian cultural figure made the statement at a meeting with Iran’s Cultural Attaché Mohammad-Taqi Amini at the Iranian Embassy in Rome.
Corrado said that an Iranian tribal delegation will be sent to Florence to display tribal handicrafts such as siah chador (nomadic black tents).
He added: “This artistic group, while performing live traditional Iranian music, rituals and other nomadic performance arts, will also show how to make their handicrafts and other products and will symbolically reconstruct nomadic life.”
The director of the Italian foundation, reporting on his recent meeting with the new mayor of Matera, announced the readiness of Matera Municipality to resume the process of signing the sisterhood agreement with the city of Tus, Iran.
Corrado began his cooperation with Iran in 2019 by participating in a photo exhibition featuring traditions of Iranian tribes held in the Italian city of Matera.
